Monya M. Vaughn, DVM

Dr.Vaughn, a companion animal veterinarian, grew up in Port Sanilac, MI. She was an animal lover from a young age growing up riding horses. She rode a variety of disciplines but focused on western all around showing in APHA. She attended the University of Findlay for her undergraduate and studied business and equine science. During her undergraduate studies she worked training Quarter Horses and Paints in all around western disciplines. Prior to veterinary school, she completed an internship at the University of Findley’s Western Equestrian center assisting in farm management. After veterinary school she completed a rotating veterinary internship at Conley and Koontz Equine Hospital near Fort Wayne, IN. Dr. Vaughn now resides in Port Sanilac, MI with her husband and daughter. Her veterinary interests include lameness, reproduction, wound management and dentistry.
