Morgan Day O’Brien, DVM

Dr. Morgan O’Brien grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY where she began riding Morgan show horses at a young age. She later competed in barrel racing and break away calf roping. Dr. O’Brien attended Cornell University for her undergraduate degree where she was the captain of the varsity polo team. Following graduation, Dr. O’Brien attended the University of Arizona to complete a Masters in Animal Science with an emphasis on nutrition. She then moved to the Midwest, where she worked for a dairy nutrition consulting company. Dr. O’Brien attended veterinary school at Ross University followed by her clinical year at the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, she returned to her home town and completed a yearlong ambulatory internship at Rood & Riddle in Saratoga where she stayed on as an Associate. Her areas of professional interests include dentistry, nutrition, western performance horses, and geriatric care. For fun Dr. O’Brien enjoys barrel racing, team roping, coaching the polo team at Skidmore College, running with her dog, and spending time with her family. (Source)
