Nancy Bloom

Owner and operator of Best Chance Farm, Dr. Nancy Bloom’s background in psychology and education is the exclamation point to her 40-plus years in the equestrian world. Nancy teaches with encouragement and challenges, all while helping her students shape their equestrian path. Her students, both four-legged and not, develop skills and strategies needed to be successful.

After riding in college with a show barn, Nancy came up in the adult amateur ranks, training with masterminds of the field including George Morris, Frank Chapot, Frank Madden and Carol Thompson, including an avenue in dressage training. Nancy and her students alike have successfully shown at extensive levels on the biggest of stages, including in Ohio, Kentucky, Ocala, New York and Vermont.

With her doctorate in clinical psychology, Nancy teaches her students from the inside out, helping riders to sharpen their mental skills, preparing them for competition in the ring and life lessons. With her masters in the educational field, Nancy offers tools, tips and techniques that help riders obtain peak performance, having trained students and horses from beginner and green level to nationally-ranked athletes.
