Natalie Barker, DVM

Dr. Natalie Barker joined Chatham Animal Clinic as a veterinarian in May of 2019 although she has been a member of our staff for many years. She began volunteering in middle school and became an employee when she was sixteen. Dr. Barker graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor of Science and continued her education graduating from Auburn University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to primary care, Dr. Barker is a certified animal Chiropractor and has special interests in equine lameness and internal medicine, as well as small ruminant and porcine medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys fox hunting on her horse, Charlie, and spending time with her husband Kaleb and their two dogs. “I am thankful that I can strengthen the human-animal bond by helping my patients feel the best possible and for a group of clients that feel more like friends.” (Source)
