✨ A Little Introduction — The Face Behind Diamond C Performance Horses ✨

With some exciting things coming for Diamond C Performance Horses, including training and rehab board openings beginning October 1st, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about the experience behind the program!

My name is Natalie, and horses have been a huge part of both my personal and professional life for years. My goal with Diamond C has always been to create a program centered around individualized care, correct training, rehabilitation, and whole-horse wellness rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

🐴 A little about my background & qualifications:

• 6+ years of barn management experience, overseeing daily horse care, feeding, turnout, medications, facility operations, and more
• 5+ years operating Diamond C Performance Horses and working with horses in training
• Experience starting colts, working with young/green horses, problem solving, and continuing education on finished horses
• Background in barrel racing with additional experience working alongside trainers from multiple disciplines
• AAEVT Equine Veterinary Technician Program graduate
• Currently completing additional hands-on equine veterinary clinical skills
• Experienced with IM and IV injections, medication administration, treatment protocols, and monitoring horses during recovery
• Independent Equine Nutrition Consultant, providing individualized nutrition evaluations and feeding programs
• Experience developing and carrying out equine rehabilitation programs, including controlled exercise, groundwork, pole work, strengthening, and progressive return-to-work plans
• Currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Biology with a focus in veterinary medicine
• Professional experience working as a wrangler in Medora, North Dakota, further expanding my experience caring for and handling horses in a demanding working environment
• Coming soon: Saddle fitting! I will be taking saddle fitting classes to further expand my education and hope to offer saddle fitting services through Diamond C in the future.

One of the things I value most is continuing to learn. There is always more to understand about equine nutrition, biomechanics, veterinary care, rehabilitation, saddle fit, training, and behavior, and I want that continued education reflected in every horse that comes through my program.

My long-term goal with Diamond C is to continue building a truly whole-horse approach. Training, nutrition, rehabilitation, veterinary knowledge, conditioning, and proper tack fit all play a role in how a horse feels and performs. Being able to bring more of those pieces together is something I’m incredibly excited about.

I especially enjoy working with horses who need a little more individualized attention—whether that’s a young horse needing a solid foundation, a horse returning from an injury, one needing conditioning and strengthening, or an owner simply wanting their horse cared for like an individual rather than a number.

At Diamond C Performance Horses, the goal isn’t just to get through a training or rehab program. It’s to send horses home healthier, stronger, more confident, and better prepared for whatever comes next. ❤️🐴

I’m excited to be bringing Diamond C back into full swing and can’t wait to share more about the program, the horses, and what’s coming next!
