Olivia Hegedus, DVM

Raised in Northwestern Ohio, Dr. Olivia Hegedus grew up riding in 4-H and local shows. By riding along with her local veterinarian, Dr. Hegedus discovered her passion for animal healthcare. On a fast pitch softball scholarship, Dr. Hegedus received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Akron. Dr. Hegedus attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She completed a one-year rotating internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, Colorado. Her main areas of interest are internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and preventative medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Hegedus enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Austin, and her daughter, Lucie. They love hiking with their Golden Retrievers, Buck and Jolene. Dr. Hegedus also enjoys spending time with her Thoroughbred, Figaro and feisty pony named 12 Gauge. (Source)
