Paola Natasha Wessinger, DVM, BVMS, MRCVS

Dr. Paola Wessinger studied Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2010. She then moved to Scotland, UK to pursue her degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Glasgow. After returning to the United States, she completed an internship in equine medicine at Montana Equine. Paola then spent an additional three years practicing equine medicine. After returning to California to be closer to family, she joined the team at Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital and is excited to expand her knowledge in small animal medicine. Dr. Wessinger is also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and Animal Chiropractic for both large and small animals and is eager to bring her expertise in this area to the practice.

In her spare time Dr. Wessinger enjoys being outdoors, boating, hiking and camping. She also spends her time caring for her two dachshund puppies, Schatzi and Schnitzel. (Source)
