Patricia Arnold, DVM

Dr. Arnold has enjoyed wonderful experiences throughout her career. Beginning in 1993 she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She then completed an Equine Medicine and Surgery internship near Calgary, Alberta. Following her internship, she practiced for two years, following Thoroughbred race horses between Calgary and Edmonton. In 1996, an opportunity in Toronto at the Woodbine Racetrack provided a great opportunity to enhance her skills on high performance athletes. Four years were spent as a race track practitioner including surgery and anesthesia at the Toronto Equine Hospital.

Dr. Arnold was offered opportunities in Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to the US and went forward to practice for eight years on both high quality race horses and performance horses. Desiring to move back out west, in 2008 Dr. Arnold and her daughter Melissa settled in Western Washington. She loves Seattle and the surrounding area and now considers this home!

Dr. Arnold has experienced many great opportunities as an equine veterinarian. Certification with the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association occurred in 2009. In 2010, she was the veterinarian for the Canadian Combined Driving Team at the FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY. She has presented at various local equine groups and presented at the American Association of Equine Practitioners Annual Convention in 2014. (Source)
