Plum Broke Farms

Welcome to Plum Broke Farms, a small family-owned farming operation that is located in Southeast Kansas. Owners Greg and Carrie Scheckel are 3rd generation cattle and horse producers; their three children help with all aspects of the farming operation. In addition to the commercial cattle operation, the farm raises its own registered American Quarter Horses specializing in good natured all-around gentle horses that can be used in a variety of situations. Our bloodlines include: Docs Hickory, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, CD Olena, Peptoboonsmal, Jackie Bee, Docs Cinch Bet, Raise the Pay, Fire Water Flit, Blue Valentine, Gold Fingers, Playgun, Two Eyed Jack, Wilywood, Orphan Drift, One Time Pepto, Gallo Del Cielo, and Shining Spark to name a few.
