Rachel Lane, DVM

Dr. Rachel Lane grew up locally in Inman, SC on her great-grandfather’s peach farm. Since childhood, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian, and worked in small animal hospitals during middle and high school. She attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree in pre-veterinary science, becoming an active member of the dairy show team at Clemson. Working with Clemson’s dairy cows on the show team and as student milker helped develop her interest in farm animal medicine. This led her to pursue a career as a mixed animal practitioner, since she already loved working with dogs and cats. She graduated from UCD Dublin College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, and began working at Banfield in August 2019. The Greer team has become a second family, showing passion for co-worker wellbeing and quality care for every patient. When not working, Dr. Lane enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, and taking care of her 4 cats, 2 dogs, 2 holstein cows and 2 mini rescue donkeys. (Source)
