Rebekah Shilo Cavalcanti, DVM

Shilo spent over half her life on the East Coast; spending many years teaching lessons, doing barn chores, and riding hunter-jumpers. She attended University at Buffalo for undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology and then moved to Madison, Wisconsin to attend veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following graduation, she completed a year-long intensive veterinary internship at Kendall Road Equine Hospital, a busy referral hospital outside of Chicago.

Shilo moved to Colorado in 2017 to join Rocky Mountain Equine Clinic as an associate veterinarian. She enjoys all aspects of equine medicine, especially internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and emergency/critical care.
Shilo’s personal hobbies include hiking, camping, and traveling. (Source)
