Dr. Bob Emery integrates Western medicine, chiropractic care, and acupuncture with the goal of optimizing your horse’s performance. Dr. Emery received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in 1990. Since then, he has continued to enhance his education in order to provide the best service to horses in his care. He was certified in chiropractic in 2000, acupuncture in 2002, and has completed the ISELP courses in 2012. As a senior partner at BLVC, Dr. Emery is continually evolving with the art of equine performance medicine. His team focuses on the integration of lameness, chiropractic, acupuncture, dentistry, podiatry, nutrition, training, and saddle fitting. works primarily with equine sports medicine focusing on the areas of lameness, chiropractic, acupuncture, dentistry and podiatry. Using a blend of ancient healing techniques along with modern technology, Dr. Emery strives to help owners optimize their horse’s performance. Personally, he has been married for 28 years and has three children. He is an avid competitive endurance athlete and loves coaching track and field. (Source)
