Ronald Baker, DVM

Dr. Baker grew up on a farm near Pleasant Hill, graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in 1981. He worked in various capacities for Dr. Ebert and in the clinic for many of his teenage and young adult years while in school.

His undergraduate education was obtained at Central Missouri State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1986. Next, he attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with his DVM degree in 1991.

He returned to his hometown to join Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic in 1991, becoming part-owner in 1996. Dr. Baker served on the Pleasant Hill R-III School Board for 15 years.

Dr. Baker’s professional interests include Equine and Bovine preventative medicine, Equine Reproduction, Equine Lameness diagnosis and treatment, and Performance Horse health.

Dr. Baker resides on the family farm his wife, Lori (1982 PH Grad) and two daughters, Samantha and Sara. (Source)
