Samantha Eichelberger, DVM

Dr. Eichelberger is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. She knew from a young age that she wanted to work with horses as her career and veterinary medicine was the best way to do that! She completed her biology degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and was a member of the English equestrian team there. She then pursued her doctorate in veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio. (GO BUCKS!) and then completed a year long internship at Park Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. Before joining the Summit Equine team, Dr. Sam lived in St. Louis, Missouri and worked at an equine clinic there while her husband finished up chiropractic school. She is new to the Raleigh area and is excited to explore and grow her roots here!

Dr. Sam enjoys all aspects of equine medicine but is most interested in ophthalmology, and metabolic/internal medicine. (Source)
