Sarah Holler Campman, VMD

Sarah Campman, VMD graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and started work as an equine veterinarian at Canon Hill that same year. She has been part of the team ever since. Dr. Sarah enjoys all aspects of general practice, but each spring, you will most likely find her working with broodmares and foals, as she handles much of the practice’s reproduction work.

When she is not helping to bring new horses into the world, you might find her doing preventive care, dental work, field surgeries, lameness work or tending to your horses’ emergencies.

Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Sarah attended college at Alfred University, in western New York where she was a member of the school’s IHSA Equestrian team. Sarah grew up in central Pennsylvania on a small family farm, raising dairy goats, rabbits, chickens and other assorted animals.

When she is not working, Dr. Sarah finds time for her family – Rob (husband) and children, Ava Jane (born 2006) and Jack Wesley (born 2008). She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, running and kayaking as well as gardening and caring for the family’s many pets, including 3 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 snake and 9 chickens. (Source)
