Sarah Pell, DVM

Dr. Sarah Pell joined GVEC in July of 2018. She is a graduate of Clemson University. Her DVM was earned at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Pell grew up riding hunter/jumpers and volunteered with a local therapeutic riding program. She was able to get a taste of the western discipline while competing on the Western IHSA team at Clemson University.

During her time at Iowa State she continued to be involved with horse related clubs and worked part time in the equine hospital. She comes to us from Carolina Equine Hospital in Greensboro, NC where she completed a year long internship. It may interest some of you that she worked at that clinic with Dr. Rebecca Stinson, our intern from 2002-03! Her professional interests include dentistry, reproduction, neonatology, and preventative medicine.

Outside of work Dr. Pell enjoys reading, running, cooking and being with family and friends. (Source)
