Shannon Peavey

Shannon has more than twenty years of riding experience. As a junior, she showed hunters and jumpers under the guidance of Caley Thomas and Mike Crooks. While attending Mount Holyoke College, she competed as a member of the IHSA and IDA teams, and twice went to Nationals for dressage.

As a professional, Shannon worked five years for Jill Pierce before striking out on her own. She is dedicated to continuing her education and attends lessons and clinics regularly. She has experience developing young horses, as well as maintaining and continuing education on the more seasoned horse.

As a rider and trainer, Shannon emphasizes quiet, tactful and correct riding with a strong foundation in flatwork. (Source)
