Shannon Puype, DVM

Shannon Puype was raised in Bulverde, Texas along with her two younger sisters. Shannon received her bachelors in animal science in 2015 from Tarleton State. She decided to continue her education at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. After completing her clinical year at Oklahoma State, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from RUSVM in May 2019. Upon graduation, Shannon will move back to Texas and begin practicing at the Shiner Animal Hospital. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Shannon especially enjoys working with horses and livestock. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, visiting friends and family, and spending time with her horse, Lizzy and dog, Paisley. (Source)
