Staci Gust

In 1999, Staci Gust began riding at a local stable in her hometown of Colfax, Wisconsin. From that point on, Staci knew that she loved the sport and that her life’s ambition would focus her on becoming an accomplished rider, trainer, and coach. Throughout her junior years, Staci competed in Dressage, Eventing, Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. After graduating high school, Staci went on to ride for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Equestrian Team where she competed in Zone 7-Region 3 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). After graduating College, Staci accelerated her professional education as she went on to groom at both the National and FEI Levels. It was during this time that Staci’s ambitions grew, turning her focus to someday compete at the Grand Prix level in Showjumping.

Staci remains grounded by her life’s ambition as she has accumulated more than 20 years of showing experience in a wide range of disciplines on the local and “A” circuits in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Florida, and now Tennessee. Along the way, Staci has also been very fortunate and has dedicated years of her time learning from many of the nation’s top riders and trainers. Time well spent building a strong basis in Natural horsemanship as well as a solid foundation in Classical Dressage. Staci focusses this training to bring the best of these worlds into improving a rider’s connection to their horse to build a stronger long-term partnership between rider and horse for a long prosperous career in the show ring.
