Stefano Calcagnini

Stefano, a native of Italy, has been a horseman his entire life. He began riding trail horses at the age of 3 and put his focus on reining horses when he was in his teens. In 2002 Stefano had the opportunity to come to the United States to learn more about reining from NRHA Million Dollar Rider Tim McQuay. His 3 month internship turned into 6 years of professional riding for McQuay Stables. Stefano treasured the opportunity to learn from one of the all time best Horsemen. Under Tim McQuay’s tutelage, he made his debut in the United States and quickly garnered success in the show pen. (Source)
