Stephanie Reid, BSc. DVM CVA

Dr. Stephanie Reid BSc. DVM CVA has specialized in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) with emphasis on Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy in the Ottawa area since 2008.

​She completed her training and Certificate of Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute, Reddick, Florida under the guidance of Dr. Huisheng Xie. She has since taken advanced courses in acupuncture, herbal medicine and tui-Na massage as well as many hours mentoring with leading veterinarians in the United States.

Dr. Reid completed her training and certification in Equine Acupuncture in 2018, and completed her internship with a leading TCVM horse veterinarian in Ocala, Florida.
Prior to her training in Acupuncture and TCVM, Dr. Reid had over 30 years’ experience in veterinary medicine and surgery including establishing two small animal hospitals in Kemptville and Manotick.

Dr. Reid’s patients include horses, dogs, cats and smaller pets such as rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and birds. (Source)
