Stephen Thomas Manning, DVM

Dr. Stephen (Steve) Manning is the associate dean of clinical programs at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to overseeing the operations of the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre, he is responsible for the senior clinical rotations in the WCVM’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.

Dr. Manning is also a member of the Field Service in the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre and a board-certified theriogenologist. As well, he is an associate professor in the WCVM’s Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, specializing in advanced reproduction techniques and equine acupuncture.

Dr. Manning graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 1991. After a few years in private practice, he came to the WCVM and completed a residency in theriogenology (reproduction) and a Master of Science degree. Dr. Manning earned his board certification from the American College of Theriogenologists in 1997. He is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist, having successfully completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course at Colorado State University in 2008. (Source)
