Susan Kovalik

After close to 20 years of involvement in the hunter/jumper field, she purchased a farm in 1998 with a goal of breeding high quality Warmbloods, and having a training and boarding facility that promotes horse wellness, rider safety, and competition for all levels, from in-house schooling shows to the “A” shows. She strives to keep the atmosphere at the farm family friendly, welcoming to all and enjoyable.

Sues training and teaching methodologies have taken beginner riders to multiple championships in both the hunter and equitation divisions. A small but very successful breeding program has produced some outstanding show horses.

She works to instill confidence in her riders, stressing the basics while expanding the knowledge of her students in all areas of horsemanship. She teaches her students to think independently, maintain good communication and become goal-oriented.

Sue is a USHJA certified trainer, member USEF, USHJA, IHJA, and IEA. She also has taken classes in dressage and sports psychology. (Source)
