Taryn Schairer, VMD

Dr. Taryn Schairer originally from Detroit, Michigan relocated to Lititz, PA in 2011. A 2019 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, she was an active member of LMU-CVM’s Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Christian Veterinary Fellowship, and Student American Veterinary Medical Association.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Schairer completed a year-long internship at an equine hospital in Chicago. She also holds degrees in animal science from Michigan State University and Virginia Tech. Dr. Schairer has been involved in the stock horse industry for over 20 years. Her interests include Ophthalmology, Sports Medicine, Reproduction, and Preventative Medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Schairer enjoys riding her horse Linus, running with her dog Perdy, and spending time with her family. Dr. Schairer is excited to be part of the team at Edelson Equine and serve the Lancaster area. (Source)
