Tessa Lumley, DVM

Dr. Tessa Lumley earned her B.A. from Santa Clara University and her DVM from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts. She completed a one-year rotating internship at New England Equine Medical & Surgical Center in Dover NH where she received additional training in emergency and internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and sports medicine.

Following her internship, she joined a prominent equine practice in Rhode Island where she provided emergency care, reproductive services, dentistry, lameness workup, and diagnosed and treated various neurologic, gastrointestinal, and respiratory diseases.

Her professional interests include ophthalmology and sports medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Tessa enjoys running, practicing yoga, and hiking throughout New England with her husband Rich. (Source)
