Walid Alrashed

Born into an equestrian family, show jumper Walid Alrashid has been riding, training, and competing for nearly three decades. Walid spent his formative years riding with Dutch Olympic Team gold medalist Bert Romp in Holland and went on to earn numerous, International Grand Prix wins and top placings at events around the globe. These include the 2014 FEI World Cup qualifier in Amman (Jordan) with the KWPN gelding, Tokyo; and the 2018 5-year-Old FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses in Lankaken (Belgium) with the Westphalian stallion, Comme II Blue.

Ambitious, competitive, and hardworking, Walid’s love for the show ring is matched by his dedication to developing young horses and coaching riders at all levels, both Hunters and Jumpers! Having relocated to the United States to found Royal Sport Horses in 2019, Walid hopes to leverage his passion and experience while bringing along a string of talented sale horses and helping students to reach their full potential in the sport.
