Wild Dream Farms

Wild Dream Farms is a full-service equestrian program in Saluda, South Carolina, offering quality horsemanship education in an exciting, supportive, and successful environment.

Our program is built around thoughtful, individualized education for both horse and rider. We offer private riding lessons for riders ages 5 and up, full-care training board, and competitive opportunities through the WDF Show Team in hunters, equitation, jumpers, and dressage.

At WDF, horsemanship comes first. We believe becoming a great rider means learning to understand and care for the horse beneath you—not simply learning what to do in the saddle. Our students develop hands-on skills in horse care, handling, grooming, tacking, groundwork, and stable management alongside their riding education.

Instruction also places an emphasis on rider biomechanics and body awareness. By breaking riding down into the smaller pieces—balance, alignment, mobility, stability, strength, coordination, and effective use of the rider’s body—we help riders understand not only what a correct position looks like, but how their bodies influence their horses.

Our horses receive the same individualized approach. Horses in our full-care training program are managed as a whole, with training and daily care adjusted according to each horse’s needs, fitness, confidence, progress, and well-being rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule.

From a rider’s first lesson to the competition ring, our goal is to develop confident, capable, knowledgeable equestrians while always putting the horse first.
