Effect of single layer centrifugation using Androcoll-E-Large on the sperm quality parameters of cooled-stored donkey semen doses.

This study explores the impact of applying single layer centrifugation (SLC) technique using a matter called Androcoll-E-Large on the quality of donkey sperm stored in a cool environment. The results found that this method led to improvements in the parameters that define sperm quality.

Objective of the Research

• The primary aim of this research was to find out the effect of using single layer centrifugation (SLC) in combination with Androcoll-E-Large on the quality of donkey sperm when stored in a cooled state for 24 hours.

Methods of the Research

• Ejaculates were gathered from Andalusian donkeys and subsequently chilled at 5°C.
• SLC was performed after the samples were cold-stored for 24 hours with the use of Androcoll-E-Large.
• Researchers then compared a variety of sperm parameters such as motility, viability, morphology, and sperm kinematics in samples that were processed with Androcoll-E-Large and those that were not, in an initial experiment.
