About Nicole Moran, BSc. (Honours), MSc.

Nicole holds a BSc. (Honours) in Animal Biology and an M.Sc. in Animal Biology with a specialization in toxicology from the University of Guelph. She is currently finishing her PhD in Animal Biosciences at the University of Guelph, where her research focuses on trace mineral nutrition, immune function, and maternal-offspring health in livestock. As a lifelong horse owner, Nicole combines her scientific background with practical experience in equine care and nutrition. She has owned her senior thoroughbred, Atticus, since he was three years old and has seen firsthand the importance of adapting nutrition to support horses through different life stages. Nicole currently trains in dressage with Atty and enjoys cooking, hiking with her dogs Odie and Karma, and crocheting alongside her cat, Squash.
