Allison J. Janz, DVM

Dr. Janz graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Her first job out of vet school was with Dodge Veterinary Clinic where she learned from Dr. Dale Perau. After being there for a couple years, she moved to central Missouri with her husband, Derek, to run a large animal veterinary practice. Her focus was on performance horses and cow/calf production. After a twist of fate, she found herself working in Texas at cutting horse breeding and training operation. But nowhere was like being in SE MN. She is happy to be back to serve the friends and families in the area.

She is a member of the AAEP, AVMA, and ISLEP. She enjoys working up lameness and poor performance in both horses and cattle. In 2015, she completed her certification in veterinary spinal manipulation (animal chiropractic) from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center. She enjoys practicing VSMT on all species. Her other passion is dentistry and geriatric care of our equine companions.

When she is not working, she can be found riding her 22 year old horse, hanging out with Derek and her dogs, or reading a good book. (Source)
