Christine Sontag-Brasuhn, DVM

Dr. Christy was the typical little girl that was obsessed with horses from birth. Due to amazingly supportive parents, she started taking riding lessons from a very young and age and never looked back.

She attended the University of Minnesota, Morris for undergrad and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor of arts in biology and a minor in business.

She then went on to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in 2016. From there, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri to perform a one year internship at a equine surgical referral center where she continued to add to her skill base.

Her family consists of a very lovely husband and a herd of four-legged creatures (cats, dogs, goats, horses, and a very sassy miniature donkey). In her free time, Dr. Christy enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, a good cup of coffee. riding motorcycle, and spending time with her horses. (Source)
