Eva Reinicke, DVM

Northland Honeybee Veterinary Service is owned and managed by Dr. Eva Reinicke. She grew up on a small organic farm in central NY state. Her family kept several hives of bees for pollination and honey production and she remembers helping her mother harvest honey at a very young age.

She attended undergraduate school at Earlham College in Indiana and got her DVM at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. While in veterinary school she took several classes that incorporated beekeeping and veterinary medicine. She even got a chance to visit several commercial apiaries in Thailand while there on a Public Health Initiative exchange.

She manages several of her own hives close to her home in Northfield, MN. She is passionate about working with pollinators and assisting in the management and control of bee diseases. (Source)
