J.C. Thieke, DVM

Dr. J.C. Thieke joined Anoka Equine in 1999 and has been an owner since 2003. He graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and then completed an equine internship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Colorado. After gaining 2 years additional experience at a South Dakota clinic, he joined the AE team. Dr. Thieke has special interest in sports medicine, lameness consultations, surgery and dentistry. He is a Certified Veterinary Chiropractor and serves on the American Association of Equine Practitioners Dental Committee. He and his family enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hunting and riding western performance horses. (Source)
