Jill Delaney

Jill started riding at the age of six in a program similar to the one she now offers. Her early interest in riding has guided her professional and educational choices.

Jill moved to Vermont in 1984. Since then she has trained professionally for over three decades in jobs that varied from eventing, to driving, to competitive trail, to dressage and now TREC and Working EQ. During this time, she continued to pursue her own education completing the USDF Instructor Certification Program, obtaining her bronze medal, graduated from the ‘L” Program for dressage judging, completed the TREC Instructors course, became a TREC judge and is current President of the Board for the United States National Equestrian Tourism Organization.

She graduated from Smith College with her B.A. in biology with an environmental concentration. She taught in the Equine Program at Vermont Technical College and continues to take classes focused on her professional and personal interests.

Jill designed and built Delaney Stables in 2004, and has operated out of this facility ever since.​ Her knowledge and experience make her well-suited to work with riders and horses of all ages and levels.
