Kimberly Maria Hiller, DVM

Kim Hiller has over 25 years of teaching experience, blending her traditional foundation with a strong emphasis on continuing education, creativity, and fresh ideas. Believing that the horse is a reflection of the rider, Kim emphasizes rider position and body awareness. Her goal is to help students recognize what they are communicating to their horses, and to guide them to improvement with progressive, systematic work.

Kim began riding as a child in Germany and has worked and trained with noted riders as Max von Bleucher, Hilda Gurney, Paul Belasik, Jim Graham, Becky Holder, Derek McConnell, and Ralph Hill. From 2003-2004, Kim was Jim Graham’s barn manager in Alabama. “It was a wonderful time to experience being in a competitive barn,” says Kim. “I was given the opportunity to compete at Training level at the Kentucky Horse Park on a very solid Irish Draught Horse, Hardeman. Jim is a great coach and I couldn’t pass up the chance to show with such a generous person. Being back at Woodloch since then has been like coming back home. There is a sense of acceptance and community at Woodloch that I have not experienced at other barns.” (Source)
