Needle electromyographic activity of myofascial trigger points and control sites in equine cleidobrachialis muscle–an observational study. Myofascial trigger points are commonly described in humans, and many studies have shown abnormal spontaneous electrical activity, spike activity and local twitch responses at these sites.
