Radiological anatomy of distal phalanx of front foot in the pure Iranian Arabian horse.

• The study was initiated due to a lack of information on the normal radiographic anatomy of the distal phalanx in pure Iranian Arabian horses, also known as Asil horses. These horses have a long history stretching back five thousand years and have played crucial roles in human societies.
• The radiographic study focused on the front feet of 10 healthy pure Iranian horses. Horses selected for the study had no recorded history of limb problems.
