Brooks Feeds Phase II is a horse feed intended for broodmares and yearlings. It is formulated with higher protein content to support growth and development.
Mad Barn's Feed Bank provides nutritional profiles on +3,400 forages, feeds and supplements used in the equine diet. With our free diet formulation tool, this data can be used by horse owners and nutritionists to design balanced feeding programs for horses in their care.

Feeding Rate: Amount of feed required is dependent on the body condition, the metabolism and the rate of growth expected. Proper intake of minerals and vitamins is extremely important for growing horses.

Brooks Enhancer or All Phase 20 should be added to the ration when less than the recommended amount is fed. Provide fresh clean water and free choice salt at all times in addition to a minimum of 1% of the horse’s bodyweight in hay or equivalent pasture.

Store in a cool dry location. Amount fed varies according to quality of hay. Hay analysis is recommended. Adjust the amount fed according to quantity and quality of pasture while ensuring adequate minerals and vitamins are provided.

Growth monitoring of growing horses using a tape or scale is recommended.

Note: Growing Warmblood and Draft type horses may require different amounts from light horse breeds.
