Hibiscus Flowers

Hibiscus flowers, typically from Hibiscus sabdariffa, are used in herbal supplements and forage blends for horses.

In equine nutrition, hibiscus flowers may be included in small amounts for their potential antioxidant properties and to enhance palatability in herbal feed formulations. While not a primary nutrient source, they can provide trace phytonutrients and support feed variety.

They are generally considered safe when used in moderation. However, their effects in horses have not been studies.
