Prior-informed population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling of dexamethasone in horses. Cortisol is a steroid hormone relevant to immune function in horses and other species and shows a circadian rhythm. The glucocorticoid dexamethasone suppresses cortisol in horses.
