Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)

Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is a strong, corrosive acid commonly used in various industrial and food processing applications. In animal nutrition, including equine feed manufacturing, it may be used in very low concentrations as a processing aid, pH adjuster, or to acidify water and liquid feed systems.

In equine feed, direct use of hydrochloric acid is uncommon.
Due to its caustic nature, hydrochloric acid must be handled carefully and is only used in strictly controlled concentrations.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) as an ingredient.
