Rice Bran Solvent Extracted

Rice Bran Solvent Extracted is a byproduct derived from the rice bran oil extraction process. In this method, rice bran is treated with a solvent—typically hexane—to remove a substantial portion of its oil content. The remaining defatted material is then processed into a stable product, with care taken to reduce any residual solvent levels in accordance with established quality and safety guidelines.

The resulting ingredient retains much of the original fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals present in the rice bran. In equine nutrition, Rice Bran Solvent Extracted is incorporated into feed formulations to enhance the overall nutrient profile without significantly increasing fat content.
