Rapid detection of equine infectious anaemia virus nucleic acid by insulated isothermal RT-PCR assay to aid diagnosis under field conditions. Control of equine infectious anaemia (EIA) currently depends on serological diagnosis of infected equids. Plasma and synovial fluid concentrations and cartilage toxicity of bupivacaine following intra-articular administration of a liposomal formulation to horses. The use of intra-articular (IA) local anaesthetics has proven to be an effective means to treat post-operative pain.
