Dried Bifidobacterium infantis refers to a preparation of the probiotic bacterium B. infantis that has been cultured, harvested, and dried—typically by freeze-drying—to preserve viability for use in feed or supplements.

B. infantis is a species of beneficial bacteria naturally found in the gastrointestinal tracts of mammals. In equine nutrition, it may be included as a direct-fed microbial (DFM) to support hindgut microbial balance, aid digestion, and promote gut health, particularly during or after periods of stress, illness, or antibiotic use.
