Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)
Folic Acid, also known as Vitamin B9, is a water-soluble vitamin essential for various metabolic processes in horses. It plays a crucial role in DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and amino acid metabolism.
Folic Acid is particularly important for pregnant mares, as it supports fetal development and helps prevent birth defects.
