Arboviruses are a group of viruses transmitted by arthropods, such as mosquitoes and ticks, that can infect horses, leading to various diseases. These viruses include the West Nile virus, Eastern equine encephalitis virus, and Western equine encephalitis virus, among others. Infection with arboviruses can result in neurological symptoms in horses, including ataxia, fever, and in severe cases, encephalitis.
