Although Dopram was demonstrated to exert a degree of respiratory stimulation, this was concluded to provide no overall advantage. The etorphine-induced hypoxic hypoxia was only partially reversed, and there was additional cardiovascular stimulation, in contrast to the previously reported tendency for arterial blood pressure to return towards conscious control values during the course of action of Immobilon.

Critchley KL.A 6 month Welsh pony filly with an interventricular septal defect in conjunction with a pulmonary stenosis due to a bicuspid pulmonary valve is described. The animal had poor exercise tolerance, a loud pansystolic murmur and a precordial thrill. The palpatory pain (tenderness) was detected in individual points, as well as along entire sections of the meridian. A few tender points and areas were also diagnosed outside of the meridian.
