Complete genomic sequence of an equine herpesvirus type 8 Wh strain isolated from China. Clostridium perfringens type C causes necrotizing enteritis mostly in neonatal animals of several species, including horses. Cases have been reported, but clinical signs and subsequent prognostic indicators have been poorly documented and must be extrapolated from cases in companion animals.
