Cardiac output/kg, stroke volume/kg, alveolar ventilation, venous admixture, pulmonary shunt and blood-gas values were determined. From lateral to dorsal recumbency cardiac output/kg decreased non-significantly. A significant increase in pulmonary shunt occurred.
