Water
Water is one of the most important nutrients in your horse's diet. A typical 500 KG horse at maintenance requires at least 25 litres (6.6 US gallons) of water per day. Horses require can require up to 55 L (15 US gallons) in hot weather and between 40L to 70L (10 to 18 US gallons) when exercising. Provide your horse with constant access to fresh clean water.
